Kibera Integrated Community Self-Help Programme (KICOSHEP)
KICOSHEP is a Non-Governmental Organization that was founded by Rev. Anne Owiti in 1991 and enlisted in 1993 with the NGOs Board
Who we are ?
KICOSHEP was formed in Kibera slums with an aim of supporting communities cope with effects of HIV/AIDS, provide palliative care and home based services to PLHIV and their families.
We extended our operations to five other counties as follows: Nairobi, Kisumu, Machakos, Busia and Migori

In recognition of its work in the community, KICOSHEP has received the following honors
1. Outstanding performance in the provision of formal and non-formal Education in Langata Constituency by the Ministry of Education (2011)
2. By African American AIDS policy and Training Institute and John M. Lloyd Foundation for working with little resources improving lives of the OVC (2002)
3. By the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) for raising the highest amount of funds aimed at sustaining the community response to care and support. (2007)
